On the occasion of Milano Design Week, ILTI Luce, in collaboration with Gruppo C14, illuminates Ca’ Granda, the historic home of the University of Milan, through the light installation “Luce Massiccia alla Statale.” The project is part of INTERNI MATERIAE, a multi-venue event conceived and curated by INTERNI magazine, which will animate some of the city’s most iconic locations.

“Luce Massiccia alla Statale” evokes the idea of an energy arriving from afar that, through a refined design gesture, permeates and inhabits the spaces of the Ca’ Granda, its walls, vaults, and columns. In full respect of the Statale’s historic architecture, Alexander Bellman and his studio have crafted an evocative intervention using the Miniflux linear system, transforming it into a graphic ensemble of slender, luminous digital pencils. These delicate lines define the space without overwhelming it, interpreting it with balance and revealing what often remains unseen.

The light emitted by Miniflux is soft and seamless, merging naturally with the architecture and enhancing its materiality with understated elegance. Miniflux does more than illuminate: it reveals shapes, gives voice to details, enhances volumes, and turns every surface into a visual narrative, allowing light itself to quietly unfold its story.
